I by numbers ®, Cèret (France), 2007

I by numbers is a master work of art specifically designed to be installed at the Musée d'Art Moderne de Ceret.

The work is composed of a set of three-dimensional pieces, scattered throughout the museum. When the observer sees them from a certain place can perceive the real meaning of the pieces: a numerical composition created by ten specific numbers, ranging from 0 to 9. The viewer's eye is the only one who can draw one by one all the numbers walking through the museum. The final composition resulting from the symbolic union of all the numbers is at the same time a big eye that covers the entire building.
